Hello, readers, I know most if not all of you are watching the weather-related drama unfold in North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida. Besides praying for those millions of people, there’s something powerful you can do; Give to Samaritan’s Purse. It was begun by the children of the late Rev. Billy Graham and they’re often on the ground before any other charity. After Hurricane Dorian hit the Bahamas, they were there with a large medical tent on one of the larger islands, long before the oft-touted Red Cross even got there. While the Red Cross was waiting for the winds and waters to die, Samaritan’s Purse volunteers were there, helping others as the hands and feet of Jesus. God bless you, and God bless those who were in harm’s way.
